  1. Purchasing Information

    These terms and conditions apply to the sale of all products (“Products”) that we sell on the European section of this Site. By ordering any Products on the Site you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions so please read them carefully. If you refuse to accept them, you should not order any Products from the Site. Please print a copy for future reference.

    www.stellamccartney.eu is owned by Stella McCartney Limited however the online store is operated by G Commerce Europe S.p.A., a company which is an affiliate of Stella McCartney Limited and part of the Gucci Group, registered at Via Don Lorenzo Perosi 6, 50018 Scandicci, Italy, VAT no. 05142860484 (hereinafter “We“).

    Purchases on this Site may be made by residents of the countries listed above only. We are unable to deliver online purchases to other locations at this time, however if you are a resident of the USA, please click on this link: www.stellamccartney.com
    You must be 18 years of age or older to order from the Site and by accepting these terms and conditions, you confirm that you are no less than 18 years of age.

  2. Product Availability

    Products available for purchase online are subject to availability. As necessary, we reserve the right to limit the quantity of products we supply, supply only part of an order or to divide orders. We also reserve the right to alter the terms or duration of any special offers or sale promotion. We will inform you if we are unable to fulfill your order.

    Please note the following product availability descriptions:
    • Available now: Products are currently being held in stock and are ready to ship.
    • Out of Stock: Products are currently unavailable, and will most likely not be available in the future.
    From time to time, availability messages may be inaccurate and in the case of the Product being out of stock, you will be notified and your order cancelled.

  3. Pricing and Payment

    While we try to ensure that all prices on our Site are accurate, errors may occur and some Products may be incorrectly priced. If we discover an error in the price of the Products you have ordered, we will give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. We are under no obligation to provide the Product to you at the incorrect price, even after we have sent you a Dispatch Confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakable, and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mispricing. Prices displayed on the Site are stated in GBP for the UK and include VAT and any other applicable taxes.

    Prices do not include shipping costs. We accept the following forms of payment for online purchases:
    • Visa
    • Mastercard
    • American Express

    The transaction will be charged to your card only after we have verified your card details, received credit authorisation from the card issuer, confirmed stock availability, and your order is ready to be shipped. Your card will not be charged at the time you submit your order.

  4. Taxes and Duties

    Taxed and duties are calculated according to your shipping destination and will be itemised on your order. Most destinations are shipped on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, which means that all relevant import taxes and duties will be included in the product price.
    However, if you are based in a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) destination, products prices displayed are exclusive of all taxes and duties, as the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customer and local sales taxes levied by the country which you are shipping to and payment of these is necessary to release your order.
    As we are unable to advise the amount this may be we will always seek your confirmation prior to dispatching a DDU order. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing the order. Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the Products are to be shipped to. We will not be liable for any breach by you of such laws.

  5. Contract of Sale

    After placing an order on the Site, we will send you an email acknowledging that we have received your order. This does not mean that you order has been accepted. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an email that confirms the Product has been dispatched (“Dispatch Confirmation”).

    The contract between us (“Contract”) will only be formed when we send you the Dispatch Confirmation and will only relate to those Products whose dispatch we have confirmed. We will not be obliged to supply any other Products which may have been part of your order until the dispatch of such Products has been confirmed in a separate Dispatch Confirmation.

    Please verify the contents of the Dispatch Confirmation and notify us of any error or mistake that is discovered.

  6. Delivery


    Standard shipping is FREE for all orders above €150
    (Shipping will be charged at €13 for all orders below €150 Standard Shipping)

    Delivery is guaranteed to be dispatched within 48 hours of purchase from our warehouse. We aim to deliver all orders within 3-5 working days to all countries. The order will be dispatched between Monday to Friday, excluding local and national holidays. Delivery times are estimates and commence from date of shipping. We shall not be responsible for unpredictable delays. Except for cases of force majeure, the order will be delivered with a minimum of thirty days following the day after you have placed your order.

    For security reasons online purchases will require a signature upon delivery. Purchases may not be shipped to P.O. boxes. Upon delivery, please check that the number of boxes are as reported on the document that you are asked to sign, and that the package is not damaged or wet or tampered with in any way. Any damage in the packaging and/or the Product or any discrepancy between the number of boxes delivered, should be immediately notified by indicating in writing on the courier’s delivery documents.

    Risk of loss or damage to products you order on this Site passes to you on delivery of the products; title passes once We have received payment in full for the Products.

    Stella McCartney is pleased to offer CarbonNeutral deliveries for all online orders. If you choose this option, a voluntary £2 will be added to your bill to offset the carbon emissions made from your delivery. Almost everything we do, even shopping, produces some of the global warming gas carbon dioxide. Global warming is caused by a build up of carbon dioxide (CO2) acting like a planetary duvet and trapping heat in the atmosphere.
    Although purchasing online is a reasonably low carbon activity, we recognize that the driving and flying involved in delivering your Stella McCartney purchases produces a lot of CO2. Working with our partners The CarbonNeutral Company we have balanced that carbon dioxide to net zero making all of our deliveries CarbonNeutral®. Please note the £2 CarbonNeutral is non refundable with any return orders.

  7. Tracking

    A shipping confirmation with the tracking information is e-mailed to you once your purchase has been shipped. You can also refer to “My Orders” in your account on stellamccartney.com to access the tracking numbers of your order.   8. Return Policy for Online Purchases

    If you are based in the EU, under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, You may cancel a Contract for an order of Products at any time within 14 working days beginning on the day you receive the Product(s). To cancel a Contract, please inform us in writing at customerservices@stellamccartney.com with details of the Product(s) that you no longer require and the order number issued at time of purchase. We will reply to your email to arrange pick up of the products. Please follow the Packaging Instructions as set out below. Upon inspection of returned goods we will endeavour to process the refund within 30 days of the day you have given notice of your cancellation. Refunds will be issued in the same form of payment. We also accept returns of products within 30 days from delivery if they are full-priced; sale products must be returned within 15 days of delivery. Any items returned outside of this timeframe will be accepted at the discretion of Stella McCartney Online. Please follow Return Instructions and Packaging Instructions as set out below.

    Returns Application process

    To return your order please place the product(s) in the original packaging and shipping box. Complete the Returns Form and include this inside the box. Close the box and tape securely, peel off the Returns Label and stick this to the outside of the box. Please contact Stella McCartney Online Customer Services on customerservices@stellamccartney.com or T + 44 (0)20 3402 1925 where an advisor will arrange a suitable date for collection. When calling Customer Services please have your Returns Label in order to provide the return reference number.


    Return Conditions

    You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of products while they are in your possession so please pack the product safely and securely in the original packing ensuring the returns conditions are met. We will accept merchandise not worn, used or damaged and in their original packaging only, with all tags intact and accompanied by the original receipt. Footwear must be tried on carpeted surfaces and returned in their original undamaged shoe box. We also accept returns of products within 30 days from delivery if they are full-priced, sale products must be returned within 15 days of delivery. Any items returned outside of this timeframe will be accepted at the discretion of Stella McCartney Online.


    Exchange Instructions

    To exchange products, please follow the Return Instructions. Please note that your card will first be credited and then a new order will be placed and the exchange, subject to availability, will be sent to you on receipt of the original order. Your original shipping fee will not be refunded. If you are based in a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) destination you will need to pay duties and taxes on the replacement item.

  9. Refunds

    Refunds can only be issued in the same form as payment originally made by you. Please allow 5 working days for us to receive your return and upon inspection of merchandise, we will endeavour to refund you within 30 days. Once the refund has been processed you will receive a confirmation email. Other than a return as set out above, if you return the Product(s) for any other reason (for instance if you claim the Product(s) is defective or you are otherwise entitled by law to a refund), we will examine the returned Product and will notify you of our decision via e-mail within a reasonable period of time.
    For countries shipped to a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis, customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable through us. However you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs office directly. Refunds will be made in the same currency as purchase. Where your currency is not the same as the purchase currency, fluctuations in currency exchange rates means the amount refunded may be slightly higher or lower than the original price paid.
    Please note that a different return policy is applicable for in-store purchases. Products purchased online cannot be refunded in or returned to, Stella McCartney stores.
    This provision does not affect your statutory rights under consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence.

  10. Changes/Cancellations

    If you wish to modify your order, please send an e-mail as soon as possible to customerservices@stellamccartney.com

    We will make every effort to accommodate your request, however, once a Product has been dispatched, the order cannot be modified until the Product has been returned to us.
    While Products sold on the Site will always correspond with their description, variations in bother manufacturing processes we use and the display properties of the computer hardware you use to view the Site may mean the colours, fabrics and designs of the Products displayed on the Site and the Products delivered to you may differ slightly in appearance in minor respects.

  13. Our Liability

    Products sold through the Site will always be of satisfactory quality and reasonably fit for the purposes for which products of the kind are commonly supplied. Our liability under any Contract for Products purchased from us shall be limited to the value of your order. Nothing is these terms shall or limit in any way our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

    We will not be liable, in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent or negligent misrepresentations) or otherwise out of or in connection with the terms and conditions for any economic losses (including without limitation loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings); or any loss of goodwill or reputation; or any special or indirect losses suffered or incurred by that party arising out of or in connection with the provisions of any matter under these terms and conditions.
    This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor does it affect your Contract cancellation rights.

  14. Written Communication

    Applicable laws require that some of the information or communications we send to you should be in writing. When using the Site, you accept that communication with us will be mainly electronic.

    We will contact you by e-mail or provide you with information by posting notices on the Site. For contractual purposes, you agree to this electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and other communications that we provide to you electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

    All notices given by you to us must be given customerservices@stellamccartney.com.
    We may give notice to you at either the e-mail or postal address you provide to us when placing an order. Notice will be deemed received and properly served immediately when posted on the Site, 24 hours after an e-mail is sent, or 3 days after the date of posting of any letter.

  16. General

    A Contract is binding on you. You may not transfer, assign, charge or otherwise dispose of it, or any of your rights or obligations arising under it, without our prior written consent. We may transfer, assign, charge, sub-contract or otherwise dispose of a Contract, or any of our rights or obligations arising under it, at any time during the term of a Contract.

    We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control. If we fail, at any time during the term of a Contract, to insist upon strict performance of any of your obligations under the Contract or any of these terms and conditions, or if we fail to exercise any of the rights or remedies to which we are entitled under the Contract, this shall not constitute a waiver of such rights or remedies and shall not relieve you from compliance with such obligations. A waiver by us of any default shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent default.

    If any of these terms and conditions or any provisions of a Contract are determined by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, such term, condition or provision will to that extent be severed from the remaining terms, conditions and provisions which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

    These terms and conditions represent the entire agreement between us in relation to the subject matter of any Contract and supersede any prior agreement, understanding or arrangement between us, whether oral or in writing. You acknowledge that, in entering into a Contract, you have not relied on any representation, undertaking or promise given by us or implied from anything said or written in negotiations between us prior to such Contract except as expressly stated in these terms and conditions.

    Contracts for the purchase of Products through the Site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be governed by English law and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
